NOTES: Also known as "Understudy Day." Eden Espinosa replaces Idina for Act 2 after she grows progressively sicker. This was the first time a switch was made for Elphaba midway through the show. Laura Bell Bundy makes a joke about Eden Espinosa replacing Idina in Act 2. When Glinda and Elphaba first see each other she comments, "You look so different!" Sean McCourt called this day "Understudy Day" at the stage door after the performance, which is where the nickname originates.

WILLOW'S: Yeah, Idina sounds like she's dying in this. Eden was great. Definitely a unique recording.

WILLOW'S TEA: Oh my god Shoshana killed Nessa. Her WWOTE was a m a z i n g. One of the bests I've ever heard. Slightly bummed it's not full audio, but at the same time, it's not missing any Sho!Nessa scenes and that's the specialty here. Also, the dynamic between Idina/Shoshana was nice as well. Highly recommend this audio for fans.

WILLOW’S TEA: This was my first time seeing Wicked and I’m so glad someone recorded it. WILLOW'S TEA: Celia made a great Glinda. Her Popular was unique. Didn't feel like she was trying to do a carbon copy of anyone else's, though I will admit it's not my favourite. The whole cast was great. Very clear recording with very very little recorder noise. The crowd was audible but not distracting or over the top, just good laughing and applause. Also, I gotta love a good DiNoia recording.

NOTES: Recorded before the show had ever been staged. No orchestra - the instrumental is just a piano backing everything. Stage directions spoken (example going into ALAYM: "Scene four, a cheap rented room."

WILLOW'S TEA: Yeah, I had no idea what I was missing out on with those missing 18 tracks till I traded quite unfairly to someone who guaranteeing the 30 track version. Absolutely stunning. There are so many little bits and details I love about this audio. I listen to it all the time. It's a bit hard on headphones as the applause/directions can be very loud in contrast to the signing/music but other than that it is crystal clear.
